It is only by the grace of God that I'm able to write a song.
​As a child I could not figure out how people could write song after song. It was far beyond my comprehension that someone could keep coming up with a new song. For me to write more than two or three songs I know it's Father God that enables me. For this I give him the honor praise and glory.
why Country Soul?
For years when people would hear my music for the first time, they would comment, “’You sing Country but with lots of Soul and passion.’” After constantly hearing this, I labeled my musical style Country Soul.”
JLEEMUSICMIX variety of songs
The catch phrase JLEEMUSICMIX came to me on a whim. It was years later when I realized it fits me well. There within my variety of songs you will find Christian music, rodeo theme songs from bull riding, barrel racing and songs for cutting (horse) events. (Yes I am a born horse lover) The newest addition to my catalog is Kids Christian music.

You know, out of all the years I've been singing and writing I'm still trying to get it right." Even more important than that, I tell you the truth, I will keep trying to please my God. I will continue to love the Lord God with all my heart, soul and mind while lifting up the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour.
